Before the cards are dealt, choose to bet on Player, Banker, or Tie. Each option carries a different payout.
Two cards are dealt to each of the Player and Banker hands. Card values: A=1, number cards=face value, 10/face cards=0.
Add up the value of both cards. If the total exceeds 9, only the last digit counts (e.g. 7+8=15, value=5).
Under certain conditions as defined by baccarat rules, a third card may be automatically dealt to the Player or Banker.
The hand closest to 9 wins. If both hands tie, the result is a Tie.
If either hand is dealt an 8 or 9 from the first two cards, that is a "Natural" and no third card is drawn.
Winning Banker bets are subject to a 5% commission, which is why the RTP is higher compared to the Player bet.
Winnings are credited to your account instantly. Withdraw to Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, or FPX within minutes.

For many casino players in Malaysia, baccarat is more than just a game — it's a ritual. Some play every night as a way to unwind after work, others spend hours at the table chasing a streak, and some treat it as a serious side income. At a66 casino, we understand every type of player — which is why we offer more than 12 baccarat table options, from beginner-friendly tables all the way to exclusive high-stakes VIP tables for the ultimate adrenaline rush.
One of the things that sets a66 casino apart in the Malaysian baccarat market is the quality of our live dealer stream. Unlike some platforms that rely on low-quality video or connections that frequently drop, a66 casino's live baccarat tables use the latest streaming technology at full HD resolution. Whether you are playing from Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Penang, Kota Kinabalu, or Kuching — the stream is consistent and stable, even on a standard 4G connection.
Our dealers are trained professionals who are not only skilled at running the game, but also friendly and engaging. The live chat feature lets you interact with the dealer in real time — ask questions, exchange greetings, or just have a casual chat, just like you would at a physical casino. This human touch is what makes the live baccarat experience at a66 casino feel far more authentic than playing against a computer.
Strategically speaking, baccarat is often described as a game of pure chance — and there is truth to that. No system can guarantee consistent wins. That said, players who understand the basics — focusing on the Banker bet (RTP 98.94%), consistently avoiding the Tie bet due to its high house edge, and managing their bankroll with discipline — generally enjoy a better and longer experience at the table.
A66 Casino protects all your personal data and transaction information with 256-bit SSL encryption. On the payments side, a66 casino supports all the major local payment methods commonly used by Malaysian players. Deposit via Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow, FPX (Maybank2u, CIMB Clicks, Public Bank, and more) — all in MYR with no currency conversion fees. This is a significant advantage for Malaysian players who want to avoid unfavourable exchange rates or unexpected charges.
For more seasoned baccarat players, a66 casino also offers Dragon Bonus Baccarat and Baccarat Squeeze tables that bring an extra dimension to the game. Dragon Bonus lets you bet on the winning margin — the bigger the point difference between the two hands, the higher your payout, up to 30:1. Baccarat Squeeze delivers a slow, dramatic card reveal experience, exactly the kind you see in Hollywood casino films.
The a66 casino VIP Rewards Programme also offers additional benefits for loyal baccarat players. Every MYR wagered at the baccarat tables earns VIP points redeemable for cashback, deposit bonuses, or VIP table upgrades. Platinum VIP members and above get exclusive access to VIP Baccarat tables with betting limits of up to RM500,000 and a personal dealer — an experience on par with top-tier land-based casinos.
In summary, if you are looking for the best online baccarat platform in Malaysia, a66 casino offers the most complete package: a wide range of tables, high-quality live dealer technology, convenient local payment options, bank-level security, and a VIP programme that delivers real value. Whether you are a newcomer trying baccarat for the first time or a seasoned player looking for a better table — a66 casino has you covered.
No system can consistently beat the house, but the right strategy can help you play smarter and stretch your sessions further.
The Banker bet carries the lowest house edge at 1.06%. Even with the 5% commission, it remains the most mathematically sound choice for long-term play.
While the 8:1 payout may look attractive, the house edge on a Tie bet is 14.36% — far higher than Banker and Player. Over time, this will cost you.
Before sitting down at a table, decide how much you are willing to lose and what profit target you want to hit. Once either limit is reached, walk away — even if you are on a winning streak.
Many baccarat players follow the scoreboard to spot consecutive Banker or Player patterns. This can serve as a useful guide, but keep in mind — each round is statistically independent.
Baccarat experts generally recommend betting between 1%–2% of your total balance per round. This keeps you in the game longer, even through a losing streak.
Playing for too long can affect your focus and decision-making. Take a break every 30–45 minutes to stay sharp and play with a clearer head.
